Becoming an ETNO Observer is a three step process, coordinated by the membership team.
Application steps are:
- Step 1: contact the team via firstname.lastname@example.org to determine whether your organisation meets the membership criteria and most importantly how ETNO can meet your needs and your company can contribute to our work
- Step 2: complete the Adhesion Document that the team will send, sign it and return to the ETNO Office
- Step 3: your application is submitted to the Executive Board for the admission decision. After the Executive Board has approved your application, your company will immediately start participating in ETNO as Observer

Annual Member contibution
ETNO is an “international non profit association” (aisbl) according to Belgian law. Any balance of credit (profit) that would be made in a given financial year is used either to diminish contributions in the year thereafter or to increase the overall budget for the next year. The Association has no other income than its membership fees and all its activities are generally offered to the membership without further costs.
ETNO Observers (and Members) pay annual dues consisting of a basic fee, the same for all, plus a variable contribution according to their class of contribution. Observers' classes of contribution for a given year are determined on the basis of the turnover of their world wide activities for that year minus two. For ETNO Observers there are six classes of contribution.
The membership team will send a cost calculation to prospective candidate Observers.
