ETNO is pleased to announce that Phillip Malloch from Telia Company has taken up ETNO’s Chairmanship as from January 1st, 2018. Following his election by the General Assembly in October 2017, Mr. Malloch succeeds Steven Tas from Proximus, who served for the past three years.
Phillip Malloch said: “Boost consumer choice, grow the economy and foster a digitally-‐enabled citizenship. As this ambition drives our approach to digital rulemaking, ETNO will continue to strive for innovation-‐friendly, user-‐centric and investment-‐conducive legislation. We will make a point of bringing the voice of our customers and of our investors to the policy debate. The Electronic Communications Code and the ePrivacy Regulation need to improve the current situation and bring concrete benefits in terms of increased investment certainty and expanded consumer choice”.
