Cooperation - Portugal Telecom

Portugal Telecom (PT) is committed to self-regulation and is engaged in several national and international collaborative initiatives addressing Child Safety.

PT is signatory of:

• The Portuguese Mobile Operators Code of Conduct developed in 2008 within the European Framework for the Safer use of Mobile Phones by Children
• The ETNO Corporate Responsibility Charter (2012), which includes provisions in the area of Minors’ Protection Online
• The ICT Principles for the Safer use of Connected Devices and Online Services by Children and Young people in the EU, developed and adopted by the ICT Coalition
• The Code of Good Practices in Commercial Communication for Minors

PT has partnerships, protocols and collaborative experience with relevant entities and authorities, including CERT.PT - Serviço de resposta a incidentes de segurança informática, FCCN - Fundação para a Computação Científica Nacional, PJ - Polícia Judiciária, GNR - Guarda Nacional Republicana, APAV - Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima, IAC - Instituto de Apoio à Criança, Linha Alerta Internet Segura (Portuguese INHOPE member) and EUKidsOnline.
