ETNO ThinkDigital interview on Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals

As social and political complexity increases across the globe, who is still committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? Digital leaders from the European Parliament and industry stakeholders share their knowledge on how to achieve the SDGs through the use of digital solutions.

MEP Eva Kaili opened the interview with the following statement: "We have to use new technologies to improve the quality of life", and Luis Neves, GeSI Director General, added that "65% of the SDGs will be positively impacted by the action of GeSI member companies and by the ICT in general". Bart Devos, Samsung Electronics, considers that the "SDGs are all about the need for collaboration".

Philipp Buddemeier, Accenture Strategy, concluded the #ThinkDigital interview with the main recommendations of the "Enabling the Global Goals" report, formulated for the digital industry: "to scale the impacts where they are positive, to flip the impacts where they are negative, and to innovate and collaborate across all SDGs".
