European Commission call for proposals to improve access
to online services across Europe
The European Commission has launched the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom 2019–2 call, making €25 million available to stimulate and sustain the deployment of European Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs) in the areas of Cybersecurity, eHealth, eProcurement, European e-Justice, European Platform for Digital Skills and Jobs and the Public Open Data. In 2019, CEF Telecom aims to provide up to €88 million in total funding for 18 DSIs.

EU Cybersecurity Act entered into force |
The EU Cybersecurity Act entered into force in June 2019. It revamps and strengthens the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and establishes an EU-wide cybersecurity certification framework for digital products, services and processes.
