Achieving the Digital Compass Targets
A conversation with telecom stakeholders

The European Commission has published the Digital Compass Targets, and the work to achieving them is speeding up. We take the opportunity to look at the latest facts and figures on 5G, FTTH and services, the key regulatory challenges ahead but also ask panelists: Is Europe on track to achieve the Digital Compass Targets? How can regulation help achieve the Digital Compass Targets?

This hybrid event takes place on 22 October 2021, from 9h30 – 12h00 am CEST in Brussels (Town Hall Europe, Square de Meeûs 5-6*) and online. Throughout the event, we invite all participants to join an open discussion with the panelists.

  • the first legal measures to increase cybersecurity in the EU: the NIS Directive;
  • the first ever rules and actions to turn Europe into a global hub for excellence and trust in AI technology: the Artificial Intelligence Regulation;
  • a digital wallet accessible with the click of a button on your phone: the European Digital Identity.
