ETNO welcomes Bocar A. BA as new CEO for SAMENA Council

The European Telecommunications Network Operators Association welcomes the appointment of Bocar A. BA as the Chief Executive Officer of the SAMENA Telecommunications Council. This new leadership role will further strengthen and foster ETNO’s strategic alliance with the SAMENA Council in the months and years to come for the good of our stakeholders and industry.

Luigi Gambardella, Chairman of ETNO’s Executive Board said, “I am delighted to learn of Bocar A. BA’s new position as CEO of the SAMENA Telecommunications Council. His drive, networking talents and positive energy are great assets that I shall enjoy as ETNO and SAMENA Council collaborate to find sustainable solutions for the telecoms community.”
 
Bocar A. BA has been a member of the SAMENA Council and with over 20 years experience in telecom consensus, advocacy and business development. He has also worked for major corporations in France where he held senior management positions. SAMENA’s new CEO is also a strong advocate for positive collaboration with regulators & policy makers, growth, investment and cooperation between developed and developing countries in Europe and the Middle East.
 
SAMENA Telecommunications Council represents telecommunications service providers from South Asia, Middle East, North Africa, and beyond. SAMENA is a not-for-profit organization, with membership comprising more than 90 leading regional and international organizations.
