ETNO at Alleanza per Internet Workshop on 8th March (Rome) - BEYOND DUBAI. A NEW GLOBAL AGENDA FOR THE INTERNET.

ETNO will participate on March 8th at a Workshop in Rome entitled BEYOND DUBAI. A NEW GLOBAL AGENDA FOR THE INTERNET. The event will take place at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

ETNO will participate on March 8th at a Workshop in Rome entitled BEYOND DUBAI. A NEW GLOBAL AGENDA FOR THE INTERNET. The event will take place at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The initiative, organized by Alleanza per Internet and Link Campus University, is intended to facilitate a discussion on the need to set a new global agenda for the Internet following the debate held at last year's World Conference on International Telecommunications in Dubai.

Among the speakers are: Hamadoun Touré - Secretary General of the ITU, US Ambassador Terry Kramer (Head of US Delegation at the WCIT), Robert Mc Dowell - FCC Commissioner (to be confirmed), Professor Eli Noam of Columbia University, Luigi Gambardella - ETNO Executive Board Chairman, Dr Mustafa Aykut - Group Representative of Turk Telekom, Nigel Hickson - Vice President Europe ICANN, Roland Doll - Vice President of International Government Affairs at Deutsche Telecom, Franco Pizzetti - President of Alleanza per Internet, Enzo Scotti of Link Campus University, Giancarlo Innocenzi Botti - Member of the UN Broadband Commission, Raffaele Barberio - Editor in Chief Key4biz, Karim Lesina - Vice President at ATT, Erika Mann- Managing Director at Facebook, Pastora Valero - Director of EU Public Policy at CISCO, Andrea Renda - Senior Research Fellow at CEPS and Jean-Jacques Sahel - Director of EU Institutional Affairs and International Organisations at Microsoft.
