ETNO AT THE BEREC STAKEHOLDER FORUM 2023

Last week ETNO took an active role in the 11th BEREC Stakeholder Forum, discussing the latest telecom developments and exchanging ideas with other stakeholders, policy makers and experts.

Our Director General Lise Fuhr joined the first panel discussion on creating an accessible future for end-users with disabilities. She emphasized our members' commitment to making products and services available to everyone, including those with disabilities. Lise also highlighted the fact that EU regulations align with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

ETNO's Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs Maarit Palovirta called for a regulatory evolution in the digital era to match the transformation the telecom sector is currently undergoing. She also stressed the need for regulation to speed up the digitisation process in Europe.
