ETNO prioritises the current proper implementation of the Broadband Cost Reduction Directive (BCRD).

We welcome the European Commission’s proposal of Gigabit Infrastructure Act regulation, which will help accelerate the deployment time of 5G and Gigabit broadband, as well as to help reduce the overall cost of deploying these networks.

This Regulation will be key to support the achievement of the Digital Decade target’s 2030.

Closing the digital divide in education with Qualcomm

The digital divide affects 37% of the global population, leaving them without internet access. Closing this divide is urgent, as advancing technology widens the gap. Qualcomm Wireless Reach, with industry partners, is actively working to address this challenge.

Connectivity is crucial in education today, enabling students to access digital tools and develop skills: in a video, Qualcomm's CMO, Don McGuire, visits Istituto Comprensivo Ugo Foscolo in Torino, Italy. Students share their classroom experiences with different tech solutions, highlighting how technology has expanded learning opportunities.
