NEW REPORT: THE EVOLUTION OF DATA GROWTH IN EUROPE

Data consumption in Europe is experiencing a notable upward trend, and projections indicate that mobile data consumption per user will reach 75 GB/month by 2030, while fixed data consumption per household is expected to rise to 900 GB/month, with annual growth rates of 25% & 20% respectively according to a new report by Arthur D. Little.

Several factors will contribute to the intensification of data usage and overall consumption, such as advancements in video resolutions, greater use of HD live sports & short videos on social media, the emergence of virtual worlds, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and the proliferation of content generated by artificial intelligence.

While periodic reports offer valuable snapshots and short-to-medium-term forecasts of data consumption, this report delves deeper into the demand and supply factors that shape actual data usage.
