WATCh: MEPs, EC and TELECOM SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES AT THE ETNO-MLex Digital Policy Day


On 26/6, ETNO and MLex hosted the Digital Policy Day event, in Brussels, to explore the latest developments in the digital policy landscape and identify the key challenges and opportunities for Europe’s tech & telecom sectors.

All in all, we welcomed 16 speakers, over 150 attendees and featured 4 digital topics that are relevant to all of us today: gigabit connectivity, fairness in digital markets, network innovation & the future of wireless networks.

Get to know what representatives from the European Parliament (Alin Mituța, Andreas Schwab), European Commission (Kamila Kloc, Pearse O'Donohue) and the private sector said by watching the recordings.

5GSC: SESSION ON SMART COMMUNIITES hEALTHCARE USE CASES

With the 5G for Smart Communities project ongoing, 5G use-cases are enabled across Europe in various fields. On Thursday 22 June we discussed healthcare use-cases with project managers & EU-wide stakeholders.

In Flanders, for instance, 5G is enabling live-like experience for remote students recovering from illness, from hospital or at home, remote dialysis saving trips to nurses or transportation of blood samples via drones. In Palermo, Italy, remote medical imaging and remote medical intervention are available through 5G connectivity.
