Is Europe meeting the digital decade targets?
Despite progress in all EU countries, the European Commission asks for greater efforts at both EU and national levels, particularly in high-quality connectivity, digital skills, AI and data analytics adoption, semiconductor production, and start-up ecosystems.
Published annually, the State of the Digital Decade report offers a comprehensive overview of EU Member States' progress towards the 2030 digital objectives outlined in the Digital Decade Policy Programme.

On Tuesday 2 July, our Deputy Director Alessandro Gropelli joined the roundtable discussion on 'Europe at a crossroads: a new regulation for a new digital world organised by El Espanol, in Madrid.
Alessandro highlighted the opportunities 5G offers for local growth, the impact of the White Paper on the Future of Connectivity, and Letta and Draghi's reports on shaping Europe's connectivity future.
